FRANCE 2 – TV SHOW

The « 5 Anneaux d’or » is a French game show broadcast on France2 every Saturday at 17:45. It is produced by ITV Studios France and presented by Olivier Minne. The game was first launched in prime time event, Thursday, August 24, 2017 and then becomes weekly. The show is based on the UK television program “5 Gold Rings”.

Two duos of candidates are opposed where they are being asked questions in relation to an image or an animation projected on a giant screen in front of them. To answer each question, candidates have five rings, which allow them to delimit a specific area on this screen. This field must match the exact answer. One of them, helped by his partner who is left behind, has only thirty seconds to place one of the five rings on the screen, knowing that the size of each ring decreases as the sleeves, increasing thus the degree of precision required for the answers. In case of error, they lose the ring they just played.
